John L. Hagemier, 88, of Terre Haute, entered eternal Heaven on Sunday, July 19, 2015.
John was born January 21, 1927 in Westphalia, Indiana to Melrose and Nelda Stoelting Hagemier.
John graduated from Gerstmeyer High School. He served in the United States Army, serving in World War II in Japan with the 187th Glider Infantry. He was engaged in training activities, police duties, and made parachute jumps periodically. He was an original member of the “Rakkasans.”John was very involved in mission work and helped with dentistry, traveling to Mexico in 1968 and 1969. While in Mexico, he met his wife to be, Tirza; they married April 11, 1969, in Tapachula, Mexico.
