Mr. Torres, a retired truck driver and U.S. Marine Corp veteran, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Torres; four daughters, Diane Florita and husband Mark of Lafaria, TX, Candis Carnahan and husband Allen of Choudrant, LA, Felicia Ann Adams of McMinville, TN, Kimberly Torres of Swartz, LA; three sons, John Lee Torres, Jr. of Maryland, Scott Langston of Monroe, LA, John Lee Torres III of Farmington, NM; stepchildren, Patty Hutchinson and husband Ken of Bastrop, LA, Charles Shelton III of Bastrop, LA, Branton Shelton of Bastrop, LA; brother, David Torres of Ohio; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a special friend ” like a brother ” Jerry Wilson.
Mr. Torres is preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Foreman and husband John and father, Tony Torres.
