John L. Miller, 83, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at his home. He was born March 24, 1939, in Harvey, IL. John graduated from the Thornton High School in Harvey, IL and was a veteran of the Marine Corps.  On February 10, 1962, he married Julia Ann Munger in Dalton, IL and she survives.  John was a Truck Driver for over 45 years and had driven over 2,000,000 miles without an accident.  He was a member of Teamster Local #135 and was an avid sports fan.
Surviving along with his wife are his sons Jeff C. (Jeanne) Miller of Lafayette, Todd (May) Miller of Iloilo, Philippines, grandchildren Tyler, Koby, Christian, and JR Miller.  John was preceded in death by his brother Robert Miller.
