John L. Fortner, 84, died Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford, MS..M….m. – 7:00 p.m..m. prior to the service at the church. Born in Lafayette County, MS, to the late Delmer Doyle and Gladys Lucille Ransom Fortner, Mr. Fortner was a member of the former Old Dallas Church. He had a great fondness for horses and even rode in horse shows in his earlier years.
