John L. Dinoto, 93, of LaSalle, passed June 22, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Mr. Dinoto was born June 23, 1916 in LaSalle to John and Anna (DiCarlo) Dinoto. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the United States 719th Army Engineers, stationed 6 months in Africa and 2 years in Italy, receiving 4 Bronze Battle Stars. He was a member of Queen of Holy Rosary Church, LaSalle, he was a retired Electrician with IBEW Local 176, LaSalle VFW and Peru Eagles Club. He also owned and operated Johnnys Tap in LaSalle from 1951 1977.
He is survived by a daughter Deborah (Nick) Yeazel of Princeton; 2 sons John W. Dinoto Jr., of Peru, and Dean Dinoto, of LaSalle; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by 4 sisters, Pauline Farnetti, Ann Hydock, Rose Vitale, and Mary Dellatori. Pallbearers will be Leonard Vitale, Joseph Panzica, Jerry Soens, Ken Jaraczewski, James Bacidore, and Rick Siekierka.
