John (Jack) L Cronin, (92), of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on March 29, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.  Born in Fremont, Ohio on November 9, 1930, to John and Annarose Cronin, Jack lived life to the fullest. He was a provider for his family, working for ODOT as a surveyor for 35 years.  He also built the house with the help from friends where he and Mary Ann raised their children.
Playing softball with the Sandusky County Merchants and with his four sons on the Mayle Construction team is one thing that kept him young.

Jack started dancing at age 60 and loved the community he found there.  They were so welcoming and dancing became one of his greatest passions. His first performance was with two lovely ladies, Paulette and Linda, at the Orcutts to I’m too Sexy.  Dancing Jack was still dancing at his 92nd birthday party.

Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann; parents, John and Annarose; sisters Kate Haubert and Mary Pratt; and great-grandson Samual Stover.

Jack is survived by his children, Shelley (Nick) Stover, Lisa (Jim) Troidl, John (Annette) Cronin, Jim Cronin, Matt Cronin and Brian (Renee) Cronin; his sisters Barb Rutherford, Pat Kiser, and Bea Lorenz; his grandchildren Nicole Stover, David Stover, Rachel (Frelon) Hughes, Erin (Matt) Swendrzynski, Melanie (David) Miller, Michael (Alex) Troidl, Daniel (Jordan) Troidl, Kristi Cronin, Mindi (Mike) Wiechman, Cassi (Randy) Knapschaefer, John Lucas Cronin, Samuel Cronin and Tanner Cronin, as well as 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
