John A. Keiser, 83, of South Bend, passed away too soon after living a full and content life on Friday April 11, 2014, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. He was born on April 5, 1931, in Wolcott, IN, to the late Othar and Adah (Haycraft) Keiser. On August 26, 1960 he married Charlotte Mangin who preceded him in death on March 13, 2007. Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brent Keiser and a granddaugher, Ann Marie Keiser. John is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Keiser of South Bend; his sons, Wayde (Leah) Keiser of Metarie, LA, and Rhett (Sheila) and Greg (Kim) Keiser, both of South Bend; eight grandchildren, Erica, Westley, John, Chad, Kayla, Casey, Rebekah and Connor; six great-grandchildren; and by three brothers, Jim (Luanne) Keiser of MO, Julian (Delores) Keiser of Plymouth, IN and Jerry (Marilyn) Keiser of Jefferson, WI. Mr. Keiser was an Insurance Agent for Keiser and Associates for 26 years, before retiring in December 2010. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the Lydick and German Twp. Lions Clubs, Bowlers Country Club and served as the Past President of Blue Goose Insurance. He was an avid bowler, golfer, fisher and napper.
