John K. Meehan, 61 of Point Pleasant, NJ passed away on Friday June 22, 2018 at Community Medical Center, after a short battle with cancer.
John was born in Newark, raised in Bloomfield, and summered in Lavallette. He later moved to Florida where he was an Auto Body Painter and owned a luncheonette in Ocala, Fl with his loving wife Patty. John was a proud American patriot who loved American history, Dodge Chargers, and the Beatles. John is preceded in death by his wife Patricia “Patty” Meehan and his father John P. Meehan.
He is survived by his loving mother Gloria (nee Ciccone) Wade of Port St. Lucie, Fl, and his sister Barbara Evans of Point Pleasant, NJ and his brother Thomas P. Meehan of Port St. Lucie, FL. He is also survived by loving stepbrothers and nieces and nephews. He is survived by his nephew Samual Cammarata, with whom he shared a special bond.
