John E. Jungblut, age 87, of Delaware Township, NJ, died Monday, April 24, 2006, at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ. He was born on January 9, 1919, in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late John and Melita (Meyer) Jungblut and lived in Hunterdon County all of his life. Mr. Jungblut was employed by the Delaware Township Road Department and then the Hunterdon County Road Department before his retirement. He also worked most of his life as a general farmer and was an active member of the Locktown Grange. His wife Helen K. Jungblut, who was a school bus driver for over 25 years in the Delaware Township area died in 1999. He is survived by his two Daughters, Mary Ann Kasper of Groveland, FL and Joan E. Meyerhofer of Delaware Township; two Brothers, Dr. Kenneth Jungblut of Teaneck, NJ and Dr. Edward Jungblut of Potomac, MD; one sister, Helen Warren of Cottonwood, AZ; four grandchildren, Maryanne, William, Anne and Karin; three great-grandchildren, James, Angel and Anthony; and two step great-grandchildren, Keith Markel and Jeff Fillabrown.
