Devoted father of Cynthia Shea and fiance, John Murphy, of East Boston, Michelle Fawcett of East Boston, and Karen Timony of East Boston.
Dear brother of Lois Polito and husband, George, Susan Morgante and husband, Al, Richard Fawcett and wife, Mary, and the late Robert Fawcett and surviving wife, Jackie, Dorothy Morovitz and surviving husband, Lester, Janis McCarthy and surviving husband, Timmy.
Cherished grandfather of Aaron, Matthew, and Nicholas.
Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
John was a scuba instructor. He enjoyed biking and tennis in his free time as well.
