John James Janson of Burlington Township, died Friday October 8, 2010 at his residence at the age of 80. Mr. Janson was born in Burlington and remained a lifelong resident. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the US Army in Japan. He was employed by 3M Company in Bristol, PA. for over 41 years. He was a member of the Oneida Boat Club, the Hope Fire Co. and the Elks and Moose Lodges all in Burlington City. He was also a member of the Scully-Bozarth VFW Post 1817 also in Burlington City. In his spare time he enjoyed playing cards and could be seen at the craps tables in Atlantic City and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn who died in 2000, also his brothers Louis Janson, James Janson and his sister Catherine Diamanti. He is survived by his daughters and son’s in law, Jo and Keith Wills, Terry and Robert Schumann and his son and daughter in law, Brian and Mindy Janson, his grandchildren, Matthew Schumann, Kelly and Andrew Brito, Patrick Schumann, Traci Wills and Wendi Wills. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Detwiler, Alice & Robert Rogers and his brothers Joseph & Nancy Janson & William & Charlotte, and his sister-in-law, Margaret Janson and brother in law Alfred Diamanti.
