John James “Jay” DeRusso, 71, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of New Haven died Aug. 16, 2014; born Jan. 17, 1943, son of Rachel DeRusso DeGennaro and the late James John DeRusso; loving husband of Anjela Wittman DeRusso; devoted father of Tracey (Carl) Morawa, James (Stacy) DeRusso and Michael (Erin) DeRusso; grandfather of Lillian & Danielle DeRusso and Stephanie Morawa; also survived by one sister Paula Baran , brother-in-law Paul Baran and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; predeceased by his step-father John DeGennaro. Jay was a kind soul and was loved by many.
