John (Jack) Joseph Giles, age 82, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by family. Jack was born May 14, 1938 to the late Edward and Regina Walsh Giles in Scranton, PA. Jack was in the Navy and served on the USS Roberts and USS The Sullivans. Jack was a charter bus driver for Krapf Coaches and retired in 2007. Jack is survived by his beloved wife Betty; his stepchildren Don Beebe(Joanne); Lori Rodgers(John); Debbie Mullen(Jim); Jennifer Poulos(Dan); and eight grandchildren whom he loved immensely. Jack is predeceased by his parents and sister, Nancy Giles, and is also survived by his four brothers- Edward Giles (Karen); Jerry Giles (Jeanne), Jim Giles, and Tim Giles (Robyn) and his many nieces and was an amazing husband, stepfather, and “Poppy” to his family. He enjoyed taking his wife, Betty, on many vacations. Jack will be remembered as a loving, humble man.
