John J. Weinczyk, Jr., of Burlington City, died Tuesday, January 30, 2007. at his residence after a recent illness at the age of 67. Mr. Weinczyk was born in Roanoke, Virginia and lived most of his adult life in Burlington. He worked as a dry cleaner for over 35 years at Crown Cleaners, in Riverside, and after that, he worked for 12 more years at King Custom Cleaners, in Willingboro. He was a parishoner of All Saints Catholic Church and a member and past president of the Thaddeus Kosciuszko Club, both in Burlington. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed motorcycles and was a great cook. He was also “the best baby sitter”.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mary (nee James), his daughter and son in law, Robin and Rick Murphy, of Hainesport, his son and daughter in law, John J., III and Andrea Weinczyk, of Burlington Township, and his daughter, Chantelle Weinczyk, of Burlington, his grandchildren, Jennifer Kratzer, Taylor Murphy, the late Shelby Murphy, Makenzie Murphy, Gage Murphy, Hannah Murphy, Brooke Weinczyk and Brynne Weinczyk, his great grandchildren, Brandon, Daylah and Raelynn Kratzer, his siblings, Helen James and John Kaciuba, of Burlington, Virginia Watson, Maryann Setchel, Tony Weinczyk, Martha King and Maggie Farris, all of Virginia, his many nieces and nephews, his mother in law, Bessie James, his best friend and brother in law, Matt Weisnieski and his brothers in law Gino and Beau James.
