John J. Jack Padlo, 57, of Peru, died at 3:08 a.m. Sunday, November 5, 2006, at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, where he had been a patient for 5 days. Mr. Padlo was born August 12, 1949, in Peru to Ladislaus J. and Ruth M. (Schultz) Padlo. He was a graduate of LP High School, served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1980, and had been stationed in the Philippines. He retired from the State of Illinois Department of Employment Security and was a member of St. Joseph’s Church.
Surviving are a daughter Jacqueline (Wade) Wilson of Sacramento, Cal., a son John J. Padlo II of Sacramento, Cal., 3 granddaughters, his girlfriend Luanne Sims of LaSalle., 3 sisters: Nancy (Edward) Krysiak of Peru, Jill (Robert) Neece of Colonial Heights, Virginia, and Joy (Tom) Bice of Orlando, Florida, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents
