John I. “10-4″ Moyer, Jr., 82, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the husband of the late Barbara Moyer, who died in 2005. Born in Kutztown, he was the son of the late John I. and Buelah (Adams) Moyer, Sr. He was a crane operator for Bethlehem Corp in Easton until his retirement in 1992. John was a member of the Lynns Athletic Association and of Zion Lutheran Church in Moselem Springs. He loved to walk, and also enjoyed listening to the music of Elvis Presley and to the police scanner. Survivors: children Terry Weller and his wife Wendy of Allentown, Judy Rodriguez and her husband Marcial of Schnecksville, David Moyer and his wife Maggie of Fountain Hill, Sandra Moyer of Bethlehem, Wanda Desieno and her husband Mark of Salisbury; sisters Betty Schlagel of Kutztown, Shirley Nestor of Shoemakersville, Joyce Moll of Mertztown; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. John was predeceased by a daughter Gloria Joan Moyer and a son John “Pidge” Moyer.
