John Henry Panezott, Jr., age 71, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 peacefully at home with his husband by his side. He was born on July 18, 1945 in Salem, Ohio the son of the late John Henry, Sr. and Betty Jane (Steves) Panezott. John spent his entire life as a devout Roman Catholic.
He is survived by his husband, Robert J. Marchek; step-son, Raymond A. Marchek; step-daughter, Kathryn Storm (Michael); step-grandson, Cole Michael McBride; step-granddaughter, Savannah Rose Storm, all of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his former wife, Wendy Grega Critzer, of Pocatello, Idaho.
John retired from Orthopedic Associates of Youngstown, Ohio and honored his county by dedicating his service to both the U. S. Navy and then U. S. Marines, serving in the Vietnam War. He was also a Franciscan Brother.
