John H. Towns Jr., 61, of Lumberport passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at his residence. He was born August 5, 1952 in Sumter S.C.; the son of the late John H. Towns and Claira Henry Towns. John is survived by his wife of 13 years, Mary Sue Thayer, two stepdaughters; Crystal Fugini and husband Peter of Clarksburg; Carolyn Ferreyra and husband Eddy of Morgantown; two grandsons: Triston and Owen of Clarksburg; two granddaughters Nohemy and Gabrielle both of Morgantown; three sisters; Yvonne Sweeney and husband Eddie; Toni Fava and husband Scott; Tammy Bablitz and husband Dick all of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews: John was a finger print examiner at the F.B.I. for 38 years.
