John H Tomlin, age 43, of Palm Springs, CA, died Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Residence in Palm Springs, CA. .
He was the son of George W Tomlin and Dawnetta L. (Dunham) Tomlin, born in Marion, Indiana on March 12, 1971. A 1989 graduate of Madison-Grant High School, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design from Ball State University. John loved hiking the mountains and desert and had hiked every state park west of the Mississippi. He also enjoyed landscaping design, drawing, ceramics, stained glass, painting and photography. He was an assistant manager for Walgreens and attended Oak Ridge Friends Church while growing up.
He is survived by his parents, George and Dawnetta of Jonesboro, IN, Sister; Cindy (Stephen) Kem, Huntington, IN, Three Brothers: Steven (Joan) Tomlin, Fairmount, IN, Randy (Pat) Tomlin, Fairmount, IN, Andy (Daphne)Tomlin, Uniondale, IN, Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
