Details: John H. Henson, 81, a resident of Glen Burnie for over 50 years, died October 4 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Mr. Henson was born September 14, 1934 in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late Leslie and Grace Henson. Mr. Henson was a veteran of the US Navy during the Korean conflict. He was an electrican with Kennecott Corp. and Nevamar Co. with over 35 years of service retiring in 1999. He enjoyed playing chess, cooking, vegetable gardening and fishing. John was preceded in death by his daughter Darlene Persall, a brother Douglas Henson and a sister Lois Laws. He is survived by a wife of 31 years Joyce M. Henson, 3 sons John Henson Jr. of Balt., Paul Henson of WVa. and Kevin Henson of Pa. a daughter Kim Fazenbaker of Grantsville, Md., a step-son Nelson J. Hardy of Glen Burnie and a step-daughter Sandra DiBlasi of Severna Park., a sister Joy Scarbrough of Fla., also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
