John G. McKeon of New Milford was 77 when he passed away peacefully at home Sunday March 13th surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY John settled in New Milford with his family where he had lived since 1977. He was a graduate of New York University receiving a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. John was a Professional Engineer for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for 33 years before retiring in 1996. He was a member of the St. Joseph Council #3814 Knights of Columbus for many years. John leaves behind his beloved wife Barbara A. McKeon, his loving son Sean P. McKeon and wife Elizabeth, a sister Jean Drumm and brother Joseph McKeon. John was the cherished grandfather of Owen R. McKeon. He was predeceased by his late daughter Kerrie Marie McKeon.
