John G. Koukos John G. Koukos, 89 of Danbury, husband of Mary (Panasis) Koukos passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Danbury Hospital on Friday, October 5, 2012. Mr. Koukos was born in Biddeford, Maine, September 18, 1923, son of George J. and Aphrothite (Konstantine) Koukos and moved to Danbury in 1926 with his family. He attended Danbury schools. John was the proud owner of JK’s Restaurant which was originally established as the former Original Texas Hot Weiners on White Street by Mr. Koukos’ father assisted by his mother.
