John Franklin Allen passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. John, a resident of Fort Walton Beach, FL was born on November 28, 1934 in Windsor, Ill.
John proudly served 20 years in the United States Air Force and retired as Master Sergeant in 1973. He served a combat tour in Viet Nam as well as assignments to Korea, Germany and several stateside installations.
He is survived by wife Delores Allen; four children, Brenda Joyce Hutchison and husband, William R. Hutchison Jr., Debra Gale Cain and husband, David Cain, Todd Eric Allen and wife, Sharon Leigh Allen, and Christopher George Allen; grandchildren, William Robert Hutchison, III, Dr. Rachel Selena Hutchison, Blake Allen Hutchison and wife, Layla Hutchison, Lindsey Nicole Offen and husband, Phillip Offen, Megan Whitney Kleinhelter, Tristan Evan Allen, Abigale Amara Allen, Elizabeth Rebecca Allen, Allison Renae Allen, Evelyn Mae Allen; great-grandchildren, Madison Lorraine Wallace and Hunter Hadyn Hutchison.
He is preceded in death by grandfather, Samuel A. Neil; his parents, George and Bernetta Allen and siblings; Jim Allen, June Allen; succeeded by sibling Joyce Hamilton and husband, Harold Hamilton.
