John Francis Provo, Sr. age 72 beloved husband of 46 years to Annette (Barrette) Provo of West Haven and formerly of Milford, entered peaceful rest on December 3, 2021.
He was born on November 21, 1949, in Rutland, VT and was the son of the late Perley and Shirley (Ryan) Provo. Mr. Provo worked for the Milford Housing Authority for over 20 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Tinto 47, Milford.
In addition to his devoted wife, John leaves his loving children, Serena Buffum and her husband William of West Haven, Jennifer Provo of Milford and John Provo, Jr., and his wife Christina of West Haven and his seven grandchildren, who referred to his as “Papa” Crystal, Matthew, Jayden, Joshua, Christian, Ashlynn and Annabella. He also leaves his brother Robert Provo and his wife Sherry of Florida and was predeceased by three brothers, Perley, Dickie and Peter.
