John Francis Foytlin, 82, of Holiday Heights, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, at home.
Born in Endicott, NY, he lived in Paramus, NJ and Toms River, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twp. 9 years ago.
John was a graduate of Seton Hall University. He retired as Head of Security for Ocean County College, Toms River, after 20 years. John served in the US Army. He was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp., and was a Past Grand Knight and 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Paramus and Toms River. He also served as a Scout Master in Toms River.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elaine (nee Surlak), his six children John Jr. of Mansfield, TX, Karen Cooper of Moorestown, NJ, Susan Allen of Wayne, PA, Daniel of Beachwood, NJ, Peter of Forked River, NJ, Stephen of Princeton, NJ, a sister Carol Brincka of Hawthorne, NJ and 17 grandchildren.
