John Francis Connell, 72, died on August 7, 2021 in Ocala, FL. He was born on November 28, 1948 in Orange, New Jersey and was the son to the late William and Charlotte (McKay) Connell. In 2005 John and his wife, Mary moved to Dunnellon from New Jersey. He worked for many years for a Cadillac dealership as an A-1 Certified Mechanic while in New Jersey. John was also a US Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War and was stationed in Dorstadt, Germany. In 1989 John met his wife, Mary, while in a bowling alley and got married in 1991. He was an avid fisherman and catholic by faith. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, William, Kenneth and James “Duke” Connell.
