Was born in Roosevelt UT on July 4th 1954. Date of passing, August 4th 2016. He was proceeded in death by His parents Albert and Dorothy Maude Marchant. He is survived Three Daughters, Jennifer Marchant, Amber Marie Marchant and Shannon Fine as well as his Son Johnathan Marchant. Oldest Brother Ralph Marchant & Sherri Waite Marchant. Brother Kay and Lori Levitt Marchant, Brother Matthew Kenneth Marchant, Sister Dorothy Simpson, Donna Kenley, Lynn Foley Marchant, Linda Blair, Carol Morrice, Joyce Howell.
When John was 4 years old he and his family moved from Roosevelt to Ogden where he attended Hawkins Elementary, Wahlquist Jr High and graduated from Ben Lomond High School.
At a very early age John developed a love for horses. He trained them as well as helped his daughter become an exquisite rider. John and his wife Venda owned a business out of South Weber Utah that dealt with excavation.
In Johns time of death the family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at McKay Dee Hospital for the time they took to try to help him recover. He was called home that evening to be with his beloved family and friends.
