John F. Matczak, 81, of Durham and Easton, PA took up residence in Heaven on Friday, July 15, 2022. Born in Sellersville on April 5, 1941, he was the son of the late John J. and Ann (Billan) Matczak. A graduate of Souderton High School, John was an entrepreneur who founded several businesses including; Pennfield Precision, Pennfield Industries, Pennfield Farms, Pennfield Charters, Pennfield Realty, FIT Group and Alcast Metals.
He dedicated his life providing for his family and had an incredible drive to achieve his dreams. His hobbies over the years were hunting, fishing, collecting art, gardening and boating! He loved the water and most of all he treasured the time spent with his family, 3 daughters, their spouses and his grandson.
If you knew our Dad, you knew he lived a Big, Full and Fast Life. This past year he fought the fight like he always did to the very end. Thank you Dad for all you have done from your wisdom, character and strength. You have shown us three girls that family is first. Our roots will always be planted and grounded. Rest assured Dad, your seedlings will still flourish.
Dad, you were quite the Architect of Life. We have learned so much from you over the years. You were always there for us, no matter what. You provided for all our wants and needs and allowed us to live a life filled with love, yet you instilled a work ethic that made our lives easier because we were prepared for the world when we went out on our own. Most only dream of what you have allowed us to experience. Far more important then the material things, was the blessing of having you in our lives. It has been quite a journey and we are extremely grateful for all the sacrifices and support you have given us and wish you peace and appreciation for the wonderful life you shared with us. We are much more fortunate then others and are rich in the fact that we have “love” in our family.
Survivors: Daughters, Deborah wife of William Ruth, Deanna Matczak partner of Marc Anderson, Annette wife of George Tymoski; beloved grandson, Zachary Ruth; sister, Elaine Matczak. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Edward.
