John Francis Burns, Jr. of Plymouth, passed away at home on February 16, 2022 at the age of seventy-seven. He was the beloved husband of Dawna (McKay) Burns; loving father of John Burns and his wife Julie of Maynard and Kevin Burns of Georgia. He leaves five grandchildren and was the brother of Joan Shibley of Agawam, Nancy Osgood of Agawam, Barbara McCarthy of Connecticut and the late Judith Morrissey. John was born on November 3, 1944 in Springfield to the late John and Alba (Mayo) Burns, Sr. He was a frontline manager and supervisor for the Wire and Cable Company. He played basketball and enjoyed golfing.
