John Edwin Marshall, 72, of Meadowbrook passed away on Saturday November 15, 2008 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born July 26, 1936 in Erie, a son of the late John Park Marshall and Nola Crayton Marshall. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol “Sue” Marshall; one son, Donald Lee Marshall and his fiancee Lisa Nicholson of Hepzibah; two daughters, Rose Marie “Cissy” Davis and her husband John of Lumberport, and Nola Janette Yeager also of Meadowbrook; he had four grandchildren, Joannie Freeman and her husband Stacy, Joshua Nicholson and his wife, Lisa, Stephanie Marshall and Chelsea Williams; he also had three great-grandchildren, Austin, Gauge and Isaiah Freeman; one sister Betty Sturms of PA; and one brother Charles “Chautz” Marshall of Meadowbrook; several nieces and nephews; one special nephew Jeremy Marshall and two special nieces, Shelly Fittro and Sharon Bundy; special friend, Harold Sears; loving “Angels” Little Donnie Bruce, Big Donnie, Alice Snopps and Gene and Kim Snopps; and two special pets, Rosie and Killer. He was preceded in death by one brother Donald Lee Marshall and one sister Marie Marshall Fury. Mr. Marshall was a heavy duty mechanic and welder having worked for Rish Equipment for 32 years, where he retired. He loved to hunt, restore old furniture and cut grass. Also he loved to spend time with his granddaughters, Stephanie and Chelsea who meant the world to him. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.
