John Witt was born November 5, 1926 to Mildred and Herman Witt in Victoria, Texas.Their home was in Nursery where his father taught attended school in Wichita Falls and after graduation joined the U.S. Navy for service in studied electronics and served aboard a destroyer in the Pacific.After the war he attended Midwestern and Oklahoma University majoring in Engineering and Mathematics. His life work was in electronics related fields: radio broadcasting, aircraft industry, research, sales and technical main hobby for over 60 years was amateur “Ham” radio, contacting over 150 a “Blind Date” in Houston, he met Sue Beth Craig, owner of “blue eyes and a smile” he couldn”t were married by Pastor Karl Kasper of Mount Olive Lutheran Church on March 13, moved to Boerne in October, Witt completed life on this earth on March 14, 2010 at age 83 years 4 months and 10 was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sue; daughter, Victoria; son, Philip; stepson, Michael; also 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
