John E. “Ed” Eviston, 78, died Monday June 16, 2014 in New Whiteland. He was a resident of New Whiteland. He was born Feb. 12.1936 in Indianapolis.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran where he was on the pistol team.Ed loved to work with his hands in his workshop. He was a very artistically talented.
Survivors include, his wife, Elizabeth (Franklin) Eviston of New Whiteland, three children, Liz (Roger) Eversole and Kathy Eviston both of New Whiteland, and Julie Tansy of Indianapolis, two sisters, Barbara Jackson of Florida and Mary (Don) Brown of Pittsboro, seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Barbara (Haynes) Eviston.
