John Dennis Kuziak, M.D., 78, fell asleep in the Lord on Friday, April 15, 2016.
He was born in Akron and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Dr. Kuziak was a Cardiologist and Doctor of Internal Medicine practicing at the Harrison Community Hospital in Cadiz and he also had a private practice in Scio and Flushing Ohio. He retired in 2002. He was a former member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Mogadore and Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church in Steubenville. He was a current member of Presentation of Our Lord Orthodox Church in Fairlawn. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and golfing with his family. He was a lifelong member of the Jefferson County Sportsman’s Association and a member of Steubenville and Cadiz Country Clubs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Marie (Slanta) Kuziak. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra; sons, Michael D. (Lori) and John J. (Marge); brothers, Michael T. (Elizabeth) and Frank R.; and grandchildren, John J. Jr., Nicholas, Alexandra and Michael K. Kuziak.
