John David Williams, age 58 of Stonewood WV, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 28, 1958 in Morgantown, WV; the son of the late John Edward Williams and Naomi Gay Jenkins.
John is survived by his wife of 13 years, Brenda Williams; two daughters, Jessica Hall and Michelle Williams; three step-children, Kelly Smith, Austin Smith and Aaron Smith; a granddaughter, Alexandra Hall; four sisters, Betty Teets, Kim Snopps, Kelly McDonough and Robin Messenger; a brother, Richard Williams; an aunt, Betty Pigott; a nephew and three nieces.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Williams; a brother-in-law, David Messenger.
John was employed by the City of Clarksburg for 28 years, taking great pride in his job and the men he worked with. He was a lover of art, animals, family and God.
