DURHAM- John David Howard, 64, of Durham died on Sunday, December 29, 2013. He was the son of the late Joseph Talmadge Howard and Betty Mae Bolick Howard. He retired after 28 years of service from the City of Durham as a Traffic Control Technician in the Transportation Department.
He is survived by his daughter, Christy Howard of Durham; one brother, Joseph Howard of Durham; three sisters, Mary Smith (Bobby) of Creedmoor, Wanda Craft (Dallis) of Baton Rouge, LA; Charlene Honeycutt of Durham; Chris Smith, Lil’ Bobby Smith, two other nephews and four nieces.
