John David Allen May 20, 1970 – August 11, 2011 John David (JD) Allen, age 41, of Green Forest, passed from this life on Thursday August 11, 2011. John was born May 20, 1970 in Bethesda, Maryland. On August 2, 2008 he was united in marriage with Jayme Matzenbacher, a native of Green Forest. As a young man, John was known for his Rugby playing achievements. He continued his love for Rugby and added waterskiing and video games to his hobbies. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan. He owned and operated JD Flooring for several years. In later years he became very skilled at designing web sites for companies. John will be remembered as a bighearted, kind person who loved others unconditionally. He was a loving, devoted husband and father who always put his family first. He faithfully attended Berryville Assembly Of God Church where he taught Royal Rangers. John consciously sought opportunities to tell his family and friends his desire to have them come to know Jesus the way he had. He is survived by his wife, Jayme Allen, son, Cole Campbell and daughter, Cailie Allen all of the home, mother, Sharon Stephens of Green Forest, sister, Jody Netzloff of Seattle, WA, brothers, Mike Allen of Yuma, AZ and Rocky Ekeerg of Seattle, WA and one aunt Donnie Ketchum of Phoenix, AZ. He is preceded in death by his Aunt Gaye.
