John C. Freeman, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, left to be with our Lord Jesus on July 1, 2019 at the age of 70.  He was born on May 18, 1949 in Albuquerque, NM.  John was a highly decorated infantry soldier who served in the United States Army Americal Division in the battle torn region of central Vietnam in 1969.  He was a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal, having incurred multiple war related injuries while heroically defending our nation’s freedom and the Godly principles he so greatly cherished on which this nation stands.  John was a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ and was extremely passionate about studying the Word of God and exemplifying it in every aspect of his life. His dedication, loyalty and faithfulness to his wife and family was a Godly example to others that truly defined his character.  Having served in the U.S. Armed Forces, John was an extremely patriotic man who consistently emphasized the principles of God, family and country. He was an avid football fan who cheered on the Dallas Cowboys, his favorite team, with his family.  John especially enjoyed recording movies and listening to all types of music, most notably Classic Rock. He remained active at every opportunity and spent many mornings and afternoons outside working on the yard and doing home projects.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Lucy Baca, and followed by brother, James Baca on July 3, 2019.

John is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Beverly J. Freeman and his two sons and their wives, John and Diane Freeman, and Stephen and Sheila Freeman; grandchildren, Nathan, Melanie, Daniel, Elisabeth, Charlie, Jacqueline, and Dominic; his brother, Jeffrey Baca; his sister, Jessica Jarman and her husband Eric and their daughter Samantha; his sister, Jeanette Autrey and her husband, Pierre.
