John Calvin Forquer Jr., 72, of Lost Creek, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at home. He was born on November 17, 1949 in Clarksburg, the son of the late John Calvin Forquer Sr. and Wynona Mae Hunt Forquer.
John is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Jan L Wagoner Forquer whom he married on November 20, 1976; three children, Zach and Marcey Forquer, Jesse and Jason Andriotto, Courtney Forquer and companion Brandon Smail, all of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Caitlin Forquer and companion Tommy Fluharty, Maddox Andriotto, Oliver Andriotto, and Heath Thomas; siblings, Roy Forquer, Cindy Forquer, and Darena Forquer, all of Clarksburg; many nieces, nephews and very close friends.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Gorby; sister-in-law, Becky Forquer; and two lifelong friends, Nancy Somers and George Morrison.
John attended Victory High School and was drafted into the United States Army in the Vietnam War.
