John C. Gammon, 92, a much loved friend and father, peacefully passed away at his home in Edgewood on April 8, 2013 with his best friend, Lynn Wells and his daughter by his side.
He was born on September 3, 1920 in New Castle, Indiana and was raised in Anderson. John served his country in the US Army during WWII stationed in Trinidad.
He is a retired from Delco Remy after over 40 years of service as a skilled draftsman and foreman. He was a kind and generous man who never hesitated to help others. He was funny and was a great story teller.
John is survived by his daughter, Ginna Gammon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gale E. and Crystal Keys Gammon, son, Greg Gammon, former wife, Clarice Gammon.
