John Booth Talbert, affectionately known as “Bo”, 47, of Troutman, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 after battling a courageous fight with cancer.
Bo was born on August 14, 1969 in Mooresville, N.C. He loved sports and was a talented expert at shooting pool. Bo will always be remembered for being a loving son and father.
Bo was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Cook Sr.; maternal grandparents, Marvin Thomas and Lillian Kiker; paternal grandparents, James & Elizabeth Talbert; and his sister, Barbara Renee Talbert.
He is survived by his mother, Brenda Thomas Cook; son, Christian Daniel Talbert; sisters, Dawne (Mike) Michelle Justice and Pamela (Tyrone) Cook Moore; brothers, Jeffrey (Cathy) David Shue, Thomas Cook Jr., and James Cook. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
