John D. Bockius, age 80 of Burlington, passed away on Friday November 25, 2016 at the Mt. Laurel Center, Mt. Laurel. John was born in Philadelphia, PA and had been a longtime Burlington resident.
He owned and operated John’s Lock Shop in Burlington for many years and was a 50 year member of the Maple Shade – Moorestown Masonic Lodge # 281 F&AM. John is the widower of his late wife; Mae T. (nee Keena) Bockius and was predeceased by his son John B. Bockius.
Mr. Bockius is survived by his children; Jeffery & his wife Sharan, Linda & her husband Eric Brandt, Lorie & her husband Michael Jock, Theresa & her husband David Ross, Sharon & her husband Carl Arnold, Dorothy & her husband Christopher Hainsworth, Dianna & her husband Rob Yurko and Johanna & her husband William Britton. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
