Mr. John Benjamin “Ben” Wolverton IV, age 28, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 28, 2017. He was born January 14, 1989 in Burlington, NC.
He is survived by his daughter, Leigha Nichole Wolverton; father, J. B. Wolverton III; step-mother, Nikki A. Wolverton; mother, Debra Fryer Wolverton and her longtime companion, John M. Alfonso; grandfather, John Benjamin “Ben” Wolverton, Jr.; and step-brother, Michael T. Alfonso.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Claire W. Wolverton and maternal grandmother, Linda F. Gosa.
Ben loved the outdoors, especially camping and trout fishing in the mountains. He loved music, especially his guitar and his songs. He made friends easily and will be missed by many.
