John Jack Arthur Wagner, 81, of Ottawa, died Thursday afternoon, June 14, at Pleasant View Luther Home in Ottawa. In honoring Mr. Wagners wishes, there will be no services.Mr. Wagner was born February 9, 1926 in LaSalle to John A and Dorothy (Yocum) Wagner. He married Gloria L. Patrick on October 29, 1949 in Streator.
He was a Marine Corps veteran and Purple Heart recipient in World War II. He was a superintendent for Natural Gas Pipeline. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Sheryl (Chris) Meek of Lawrence, Kansas; two grandchildren, Casey and Dylan Meek. Memorials may be directed to Labor of Love or the donors choice.
