John Arthur Nice, Jr., 45, of Farmington, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in the United Hospital Center following an extended illness. Mr. Nice was a carpet installer, roofer and landscaper with local contractors. He was born in Washington, DC on March 7, 1965, a son of the late John Arthur Nice and Carol Sue Jones Nice who survives. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Callow Nice; three children, John Arthur Nice, III, Eric Leroy Nice, and Judd Robert Edwin Nice, all of Farmington; one grandson, Nathaniel Edwin Nice; three brothers, Stoney Eugene Jones and Patricia Heathcoat, Clarksburg, Robert Earl Nice and Brenda Gay, Reynoldsville, and Frank Leroy Nice and Carol Ann Adams, Clarksburg; a special cousin, Rachel Lynn Mendel, Clarksburg; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Michael Darrell Nice. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother and will be greatly missed by his family.
