John Arnold Teixeira, 49, of Sandwich, formerly of Plymouth & Kingston, died on Feb 19th, 2019 at the Cape Heritage Nursing and Rehab in Sandwich. John was the beloved son of the late Arnold and Shirley Ann (Fillippini) Teixeira. He was educated at Silver Lake Regional High School, Class of 1988. John had worked as a Union welder for most of his life, working for the Local 276 Pipe fitters and plumber Union. John was blessed with artistic abilities, through his drawing, and model making. He was intrigued with “skulls” and collected “skull memorabilia”. He was an avid football fan and rooted for the “New England Pats” faithfully! He enjoyed traveling when he had the chance to do so. But most importantly, John was dedicated to the love of his family. A void that can never be filled will reign in the hearts of the lives he was the loving brother of Tina Reed and her husband Earl of Plymouth, Lisa Newton and her husband Al of Forestdale and Lori Teixeira of Kingston. He was the cherished uncle of Dana Santos with whom he was very close as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
