John Anthony Coon, Jr., 52, of Grafton, passed away on July 28, 2021 at Grafton City Hospital. He was born on May 14, 1969 in North Carolina, a son of John A Coon Sr, and Linda Bucklew Carlyle.
John has owned and operated his own construction company for many years. He loved being in the outdoors, and relaxing while fishing. John liked rock music and enjoyed being with people. He loved the time spent with his family and friends.
John is survived by his father John Anthony Coon Sr. of Grafton., step father Tom Carlyle of Grafton, two children; Brittany Coon of Morgantown and Tiffany Field of Newburg, two brothers William Carlyle of Clarksburg, Jeremy Carlyle of Grafton, three grandchildren Camden, Koven, and Zaiden.
In addition to his mother John is preceded in death by his wife Julia Wyckoff Coon and a brother Jeff Gore.
