John Allen Schierman, 49, formerly of the Silver Valley, passed away August 25, 2019 in Elko, Nevada. John was born November 23, 1969 in Kellogg, Idaho. He was the son of Dan Schierman and Gail Stillwell.
John attended and graduated from the Kellogg High School Class of 1988. While in school John found success on the football field.
After graduation John went to work in the mines. He worked in numerous mines and lived in several states over the years.
When John wasn’t traveling for work he loved being at home with his family.
John is survived by his son Matthew (Bobbie) Schierman; three grandsons Wyatt, Brantlee and Emmett; his father Dan Schierman and step-father Harold Stillwell; his sister Lori Schierman; three step-brothers Jeff Sept, Don Morin and Mike Morin; two nephews Shad Hopper and Travis Schierman and family. He is also survived by three aunts Pam Nagel Anderson, Cynthia Rahn and Cheryl (Steve) Deahn. John was preceded in death by his mother Gail Stillwell and step-mother Shirley Schierman; his grandparents Robert and Maxine Anderson and Dan and Margaret Schierman and two uncles Gary Anderson and Gary Rahn.
