He leaves to cherish his memories are: his two sons, John Jr. and Elijah DeGraffenreidt both of New York; one grandchild, three sisters; Geraldine DeGraffenreidt of Pittsboro, NC; Phyllis Watson of Chapel Hill, NC and Carolyn Siler of Sanford, NC; sister-in-law, Rebecca DeGraffenreidt of Orangeburg, S.C.; five nieces and three nephews, three special cousins, Mr. John L. Cotton, who he talked about often, Ms. Nannie Bolden and Ms. Carrie Harris and most of all his main friend, Mr. Bobby Rodgers, two god sisters, Helen and Delois.
