Schaeffer, John A., 84, of Mulberry, beloved husband of Lois Schaeffer, passed away September 9, 2015. He was born in Rochester, NY to parents Louis and Eva (Heindel) Schaeffer.
John is survived by his wife Lois; his children Steven (Jean), Scott (Nancy), Annette and John; stepchildren Linda Quinlan, Laurie DiPiazza (Brian), Steven Backer (Joan); grandchildren Karl, Eric, Sara, Sydney, Serena, Tim, Tom, Emily, Jason and Kristin; great-grandchildren Lilly, Molly, Nataly, Kelsey, Kane, Link and Ava.
Most important to John were his family and many friends. He enjoyed playing bridge and shuffleboard. His favorite animal was the wolf, but he could often be found in the company of Otis and Maxi, his two favorite felines.
