John A Purciful, 83, Anderson, passed away November 1, 2011. He was born February 2, 1928 in Clinton County to the late Pauline Spencer and Albert J. Purciful.
John served with the United States Army. He retired from Delco Remy after 36 1/2 years of service.
John was a member of American Legion, Amvets, Sheridan Masonic Lodge, Eagles, Elks and Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis.
Survivors include his loving companion of 23 years, Ja Moore; daughter, Deborah Phillips; son, Timothy Purciful Rachel; brother, Ed Purciful Julie; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Stephen Purciful; two sisters, Marcia McKinny & Roseann Shupe; and a brother, Don Purciful.
